Thallium Ionization Energy

The Thallium Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Thallium.
Tl -> Tl+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Thallium is:
TlN+ -> Tl(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Tl -> Tl1+ = 589.3 kJ/mol = 140.98 Kcal/mol
Tl1+ -> Tl2+ = 1971 kJ/mol = 471.53 Kcal/mol
Tl2+ -> Tl3+ = 2878 kJ/mol = 688.52 Kcal/mol
Tl3+ -> Tl4+ = 4900 kJ/mol = 1172.25 Kcal/mol
Tl4+ -> Tl5+ = 6100 kJ/mol = 1459.33 Kcal/mol
Tl5+ -> Tl6+ = 8300 kJ/mol = 1985.65 Kcal/mol
Tl6+ -> Tl7+ = 9500 kJ/mol = 2272.73 Kcal/mol
Tl7+ -> Tl8+ = 11300 kJ/mol = 2703.35 Kcal/mol
Tl8+ -> Tl9+ = 14000 kJ/mol = 3349.28 Kcal/mol
Tl9+ -> Tl10+ = 16000 kJ/mol = 3827.75 Kcal/mol
