Thallous molybdate, Tl2MoO4
Thallous molybdate, Tl2MoO4, is obtained as a white, sparingly soluble, crystalline solid by double decomposition, or by heating a solution of a thallous salt with molybdic acid. More complex molybdates of the formulae Tl2O.11MoO3, 3Tl2O.8MoO3, Tl2O.4MoO3.H2O, and 5Tl2O.12MoO3, have also been described.
