Thallous molybdate, Tl₂MoO₄

Thallous molybdate, Tl₂MoO₄, is obtained as a white, sparingly soluble, crystalline solid by double decomposition, or by heating a solution of a thallous salt with molybdic acid. More complex molybdates of the formulae Tl₂O.11MoO₃, 3Tl₂O.8MoO₃, Tl₂O.4MoO₃.H₂O, and 5Tl₂O.12MoO₃, have also been described.
