Thallous thiosulphate, Tl2S2O3

Thallous thiosulphate, Tl2S2O3, is obtained as a white crystalline precipitate by adding potassium thiosulphate to a solution of a thallous salt. It can be crystallised from hot water, and begins to decompose at 130°. Sodium thallous thiosulphate, 2Tl2S2O3.3Na2S2O3.8H2O, is known.
